Ingredients
- 8 mushrooms
- 1/2 cup peas
- 3 large tomato
- 2 green chilly
- 1 – chopped ginger
- 3 tbsp.Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil
- 1 pinch hing
- 1/2 tbsp.cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp. kasuri methi
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt according to taste
Method
- Wash mushroom and cut it into 6 pieces
- In a jar, add tomatoes, ginger, green chilli and grind them coarsely
- Heat oil in a pan add hing, cumin seeds and sauté it for 1 minute
- To this add turmeric powder, coriander powder and tomato paste, kasuri methi andsauté everythinguntil the oil leaves the pan from the sides
- Now add in peas and mix it well, cover it and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
- When the mixture start cooking, add mushroom to it
- Add 1/2 cup water and bring everything to a boil, now add salt and garam masala, and mix it well
- Cover the pan and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on low gas
Your mutter mushroom masala is ready now! Serve hot with chapatis.
