Here is a quick and easy recipe to make delicious, restaurant-style Chinese Chopsuey at home. This all-time favourite Chinese dish, sweet and tangy chopsuey with chicken and crunchy fried noodles. Tastes yummy when served hot.
- 1 1/2 cups chicken (cooked and shredded)
- 1/2 cup capsicums, shredded
- 1/2 cup onions, sliced
- 2 tsp garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Freedom refined sunflower oil
- 200 gms noodles (drained and boiled)
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste salt
- 2 tbsp corn flour more oil (to deep-fry)
How to Make Delicious Chinese Chopsuey
Step 1 : Mix vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, salt and corn flour in a cup of water and keep it aside.
Step 2 : Heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté onion and garlic. One they are soft and brown, add chicken and capsicum and fry it over high flame for a minute or so. Add the sauce ingredients you made earlier heat it till it boils.
Step 3 : In another pan, deep fry the noodles over high heat till they turn brown, drain them and transfer the noodles to your plate or serving dish. Pour the chicken mixture you made over it and serve hot!
