  • ½ cup fine rava (semolina)
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • A pinch of salt

For Frying

  • 3–4 tbsp Freedom Rice Bran Oil

Method

Step 1: Clean and devein the prawns thoroughly. Wash and pat them dry.

Step 2: In a bowl, combine ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, lemon juice, and salt.

Step 3: Add the prawns and coat them evenly with the marinade. Allow them to rest for 15–30 minutes.

Step 4: In a separate plate, mix rava, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and a pinch of salt.

Step 5: Coat each marinated prawn evenly with the rava mixture.

Step 6: Heat Freedom Rice Bran Oil in a flat pan or tawa over medium heat.

Step 7: Arrange the coated prawns in a single layer and shallow fry for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
