Our fully automated manufacturing unit ensures 100% human contact-free processing, upholding the highest standards of safety and purity. Each drop of oil undergoes rigorous quality checks in FSSAI-certified laboratories, leveraging advanced nanotechnology to guarantee consistency and excellence. Crucially, our refining process is engineered to preserve the oil’s natural nutrients, ensuring that the health benefits remain uncompromised. Gemini Edibles & Fats India Ltd. (GEF India) refines over 2,400 metric tons of edible oil daily, powered by cutting-edge machinery across three world-class facilities—two in Kakinada and one in Krishnapatnam. These state-of-the-art plants embody GEF India’s unwavering commitment to quality, operational efficiency, and sustainable practices.
This is our newest manufacturing unit situated to make maximum use of Kakinada’s well developed port infrastructure. It is equipped with Desmet Ballestra (Belgium) refining technology that aids in high-efficiency processing. The unit also has in-house manufacturing units for tins, PET bottles etc. This reduces external dependency and keeps the quality of packaging consistent. We have also integrated sustainability initiatives into the units, like energy-efficient operations and waste management.
Strategically located in the industrial zone of Kakinada, this manufacturing unit also houses Desmet Ballestra (Belgium) refining technology and in-house manufacturing units of packaging materials. It has a storage capacity of 5,000 tons. It majorly focuses on Sunflower Refined Oil refining with an impressive capacity of 300 to 500 tons per day. It also packs Groundnut, Sunflower, Mustard & Rice Bran Oil.
Strategically situated near the deep-water port, the import logistics of this plant for crude edible oils is smooth and hassle-free. It is also home to the high-capacity refining technology from Desmet Ballestra that optimizes production efficiency. PET bottles and jars are packed in-house ensuring a reliable supply chain. Mindful of the sustainability of the processes the plant observes water conservation, emission reduction, and sustainable sourcing practices.
