Ingredients

Green chutney
Tamarind chutney
4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled, peeled & cubed
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
1½ finely chopped green chillies
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp coarsely crushed coriander seeds
100 g chole (optional)
Red chilli powder, to taste
Chaat masala, to taste
Black salt, to taste
Lemon juice, as required
1–2 tbsp Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil
Sev, as required

Method

  1. Heat Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil in a pan and shallow fry the potato cubes until golden and crisp.
  2. Transfer the fried potatoes to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add cumin powder, crushed coriander seeds, red chilli powder, black salt, green chillies, tomatoes, boiled chole, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Plate the mixture and drizzle generously with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
  5. Top with chopped onions, a sprinkle of chaat masala, sev, and fresh coriander leaves.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the match with every crunchy, tangy bite!
