Mango Jelly

Summers are upon us and it only means one thing!! Mangoes!!! This is a really easy recipe you can make with mangoes using gelatin or agar agar. I used fresh mango fruit, agar agar, milk and sugar. This recipe is very simple and easy to follow and delicious at the same time. This jelly is truly mango based sweet dessert having the creamy and yummy flavor. You can serve as a desert or even during your kiddos play date or birthday party. Readymade jellies are available full of artificial colors and preservatives, and being a natural parent I don’t prefer them. Do you really need any more reasons to enjoy this fruit during summers!! Now enjoy the summer vacation with these fresh and juicy mangoes, which are turned into quick and tasty jelly recipe. 

Ingredients

  1. 3 Mangoes pulp puree500ml milk
  2. 5gm agar agar
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Method

  1. Soak agar agar in lukewarm water for 10minutes.
  2. Boil milk in pan, add agar agar n sugar stir until dissolve.
  3. Add mango puree in batches immediately. Keep stirring until consistency get little shiny n thick
  4. Grease small pan or moulds. Pour mango milk jelly n set for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  5. Cut jelly from the sides n demoulds.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
