Thokku Pickle

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg mangoes de seeded and diced
  • 250 grams salt
  • 150 grams chilli powder
  • 10 grams rye powder
  • ½ teaspoon haldi
  • 100 grams chilli garlic paste

SEASONING

Few seeds of Rye, jeera, methi ,kalonji and a pinch of hing

100 ml freedom groundnut oil

METHOD

  • Mix the diced mangoes and masala
  • Add Ginger garlic paste and mix well
  • Heat oil in a karhai
  • Heat a little oil and add the seasonings
  • Cool after the seasoning sputters
  • Add the rest of the oil and seasoning to the masala mangoes.
  • Mix well.

Keep for a day
