Veg Manchurian

A solution to all your snack craving that will leave you wanting for more. Here’s the recipe to a super delightful Chinese that is quick and easy. An ideal dish for any occasion or just like that too.

Ingredients

For vegetable balls:

  • 1/2 Cup Spring onion
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 3 Tbsp Corn flour
  • 2 Tbsp Maida
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1/2 Cup Cabbage
  • 1/2 Cup Carrot
  • 1/2 Cup Capsicum

For Manchurian sauce :

  • Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Chilly sauce
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Black pepper
  • 3 TbspCorn flour
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Green chilli
  • 2 Tbsp Spring onion
  • 1 Cup Water

How to Make Restaurant style Veg Manchurian

Step 1 : First we prepare the vegetable balls for which you need to take a bowl and mix all the veggies (finely chopped), ginger, garlic, corn flour, maida, salt, black pepper and soy sauce. Add water as per the consistency you need, make round balls of this mixture and then in a pan, deep fry them.

Step 2 : In another pan, heat oil and sauté ginger, garlic and green chilli for a while. Then add spring onion, tomato puree/ketchup, chilly and soya sauce, vinegar, salt and black pepper. Mix them well, add corn flour mixed with water and then put the fried vegetable balls into the mixture.

Step 3 : Once the balls are properly mixed, garnish it with spring onion and celery. Tastes best when served hot along with steamed rice.
