Mutter Mushroom Masala

Ingredients
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 3 large tomato
  • 2 green chilly
  • 1 – chopped ginger
  • 3 tbsp.Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1/2 tbsp.cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp. kasuri methi
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt according to taste

 

Method
  • Wash mushroom and cut it into 6 pieces
  • In a jar, add tomatoes, ginger, green chilli and grind them coarsely
  • Heat oil in a pan add hing, cumin seeds and sauté it for 1 minute
  • To this add turmeric powder, coriander powder and tomato paste, kasuri methi andsauté everythinguntil the oil leaves the pan from the sides
  • Now add in peas and mix it well, cover it and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
  • When the mixture start cooking, add mushroom to it
  • Add 1/2 cup water and bring everything to a boil, now add salt and garam masala, and mix it well
  • Cover the pan and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on low gas

 

Your mutter mushroom masala is ready now! Serve hot with chapatis.
