Ingredients
- 2 raw bananas
- 2 cups fresh curd
- 1 big piece of coconut, chopped
- 4 green chillies
- 1 tsp. roasted jeera powder
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 1 small bowl coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
For tempering:
- Freedom refined sunflower oil – 1 tsp.
- ½ tsp. mustard seeds
- 10-15 curry leaves
- 4 pieces – whole red chillies
Method
- Chop the raw bananas and pressure cook until you get one whistle
- Grind the chopped coconut, green chilli, coriander leaves and 2 tbsp. fresh curd to a fine paste
- Now in a big bowl, add the boiled bananas and the fine paste and mix everything well
- To this mixture, add in rest of the curd, season with salt, roasted cumin powder and grated ginger and give everything a good mix
- For tempering tadka, in a small kadai heat some oil, throw in the mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilli powder and sauté for a few seconds and take off the kadai from the stove
- For the final step, mix everything together and refrigerate before serving
